Scholarship Program

With the proceeds from our golf tournament combined with a contribution from the Education Foundation we are able to award annual scholarships to the children of employees of SCBA-member institutions.

Participants join together at this two-day Conference for educational and motivational presentations, networking opportunities and fellowship.

Come play the links with us for a good cause! The money raised at this annual golf tournament is used to award college students of our member banks’ employees.

Outstanding Young Banker Award

This prestigious honor is chosen by the SCBA Past Chairman’s Club and has been awarded to one deserving banker each year since 1970.

BankPAC Sporting Clays Tournament Fundraiser

The Emerging Leaders Division hosts an annual BankPAC Sporting Clays Tournament Fundraiser. The proceeds from this tournament are contributed to the SCBA StatePAC.

Leadership development and effective advocacy go hand in hand. Our emerging leaders support the banking industry and the SCBA by engaging in grassroots efforts.

Financial Education and Community Awareness

The promotion of financial education and community awareness has long been a hallmark initiative of the Emerging Leaders Division. Each year hundreds of emerging leaders teach financial literacy classes to students across the state, whether it is “Teach Children to Save Day” or volunteering with Junior Achievement. Countless bankers also spend their time and resources volunteering with multiple organizations and donating to charities. Bankers build communities — nurturing relationships, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment where people feel connected, supported, and empowered.
